Rideau Canal, War Memorial, Love Lock Bridge, Locks, The Glebe/Lansdowne Park, Arboretum, Dow’s Lake, Little Italy, Ottawa River, the province of Quebec, the Museum of History, Rideau Hall, Rideau Falls,  The National Gallery of Canada, Byward Market and the Parliament Hill.

We will stop at major attraction for 5-10 minutes for sightseeing and taking pictures.  We will stop at Little Italy for Lunch or snack for 30 minutes.

Rideau Canal Pathway, Experimental Farm Pathway, Voyageurs and Ottawa River pathways (or Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway)

Bicycling along the canal pathway, hear the history of the canal, then make a short detour visit to Lansdowne park and the Glebe (neighborhood).

Pass by some of the Locks and Carleton University. Continuing along the Rideau Canal, visit the spectacular Arboretum, and trendy Little Italy. Bicycling back along the beautiful Ottawa River pathway (Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway) to Downtown Ottawa, see even more of the city’s attractions, including the War Museum. Take a detour to the province of Quebec for a spectacular downtown view.

While cycling back to the starting point, see the National Gallery of Canada, Rideau Hall, Rideau Falls, Byword Market, and Parliament Hill.
