Grant Kowalsky

Grant grew up near Tobermory, Ontario – an outdoor playground that sparked a love for adventure. He began racing mountain bikes at just 14 and went on to serve as a park ranger and firefighter before finding his home with Escape Tours & Rentals.

For the past three years, Grant has been developing and managing both the bicycle and kayak programs at Escape. These days, you’ll most likely find him at the NCC River House, where he brings his energy, expertise, and smile to guests eager to explore the Ottawa River and scenic paths.

When the snow starts falling, Grant packs up and heads off to explore a new part of the world each winter. Whether it’s surfing, fishing, kayaking, or just soaking in the culture, he’s always chasing the next adventure!
