Join us for this leisurely relaxed 2-hour bike tour of Ottawa. The tour is about 12 kilometers (7.5 Miles) and shows you many of downtown Ottawa’s major attractions on beautiful and safe bicycle paths (95% on designated safe bike paths). You will breathe fresh air and experience much more of Ottawa than you would by walking or driving. Cycle through 2 provinces, see Rideau Falls, the Governor General’s house at Rideau Hall and much more. This tour is ideal for occasional or easy-going bicyclists, and those traveling with friends, family members/children and want to see and learn about Ottawa’s downtown core and beyond.
Rideau Canal, War Memorial, Love Lock Bridge, Byward Market, Rideau Hall, Rideau Falls, New Edinburgh neighbourhood, Museum of History, province of Quebec, National Art Gallery, Rideau Canal Locks, Bytown Museum and Parliament Hill.
Starting downtown (65 Sparks St.), we will first visit the War Memorial. A leisurely ride on the Rideau Canal Pathway will give you a beautiful view of Ottawa’s downtown and popular Byward market neighbourhood. We will visit Rideau Hall, Rideau Falls and cross the bridge to visit the picturesque province of Quebec. Cycling back through the Voyageurs and Ottawa River pathways (or Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway) you will see and hear more of Ottawa’s beauty and major attractions including Parliament Hill, the National Art Gallery and the Museum of History. The Rideau Canal Locks and the Bytown Museum will be the last attractions on this short and fun tour.
