I finally got on a bike again as an adult in 2002, when I moved to Ottawa. I knew immediately I moved to the right city. It was home. Biking on over 600kms of trails, I felt complete freedom!

I was surprised when I met locals and visitors who have never experienced even half of the beauty found in and around Ottawa. Seeing it from the bike paths is pure bliss, and I knew I had to share it with others. And this was how Escape Bicycle Tours & Rentals was born! 11 years later, we’ve consistently been the top bike tour and bike rental company in Ottawa.
