Richard Louch

Richard grew up enjoying the exhilaration of cycling from an early age on the streets and ravines of Toronto. Moving to Ottawa as a young adult specifically for the cycling in the summer and the skiing in the winter, he has spent the majority of his life exploring the bike trails, paths and roadways of Ottawa for both the pleasure of the ride and as an efficient means of transportation.

He organized a bicycle festival in Ottawa for 5 years, has volunteered for several cycling related charitable organizations and continues to immerse himself and contribute to the cycling culture in Ottawa. His favourite ride is on a classic steel frame bike that he has shared thousands of kilometers and some awesome adventures with!

Richard has been an Escape Tour guide since 2015 and relishes the opportunity to share the cycling experience, and his extensive knowledge of the Ottawa region, with guests on a bike.
