Lucie grew up in a small francophone farming town east of Ottawa, where she learned to ride a bike on gravel roads. 40 years ago she moved to Ottawa which she explored and commuted everywhere on her bike. Since then, she has enjoyed the city’s evolution.
She recently retired having spent all of her career in healthcare. She started as a bedside nurse (including one year in Switzerland) before moving to management positions, and the last 9 years as Director of Planning and Transformation for a local hospital.
She enjoys being active outside. The extensive pathways of Ottawa and Gatineau are her playground. She is an avid road and trail runner and a cyclist. In the winter she also cross-country skis and snowshoes on those same trails.
She loves to meet people and wants you to enjoy yourself learning about and observing our beautiful city while cycling on its pathways.
